| My little brother had come to Boston to drive home with me cross-
country. As we crossed the border from Colorado into New Mexico with
Pink Floyd on the radio, we spotted this territorial-style rest stop by
the side of the road. We got out to stretch our legs before the sun
disappeared behind the first mountains I had seen for months. Twilight
Territorial was born that night as a “welcome home” gift
from the spirit that dwells in the desert. I was back where I belonged
